THE HITTING LEAGUE......Sign up until FRIDAY, OCTOBER 10th!!!!!
The Hitting League will start on Monday, October 13th and continue every Monday until November 10th. The two team championship will be on Nov. 17th. Teams consist of three players. ALL AGES are welcome. Team t-shirts will be made and prizes will be rewarded. Click to download a registration form: hittingleague
Rules are as follows:
LBA Hitting League Rules
Monday Night starting at 7 p.m.
October 13th-November 10th
Championship- November 17th
- Each game is 7 innings
- 7 pitches per player in an inning
- First pitch is worth 0 pts. (player can take, swing, or bunt)
- Second pitch must be bunted
- A successful bunt is worth 1 pt. (score keepers discretion)
- A missed bunt is 0 pts. (score keepers discretion)
- 3rd-7th pitches the player must swing away
- Points are scored by hitting the designated point areas of the cage
- If the ball is hit on the line the higher score is rewarded
- If the ball hits the machine or the protective screen on a line the points are rewarded to the player
- If the ball hits the top of the cage before it hits a designated point area no points are rewarded
- If the ball hits the turf before it hits a designated point area no points are rewarded
- Each team is responsible for keeping their own score and turning it in to the front desk after the game is over.
- Regular season lasts 5 weeks. 3 players on a team. $50.00/player
- MUST make a missed game up within the week. (schedule)
- If not made up, take lowest score of season.
- Top 2 teams go Head-To-Head for the championship
- PRIZES
- Hitting League Shirts with team name
- Team Champions win a 50 token card (valued at $45) and champion shirts
- Individual League Champion wins champion shirt and 50 token card
